Following on from the hugely successful Cartwright Drama Studio acting classes for adults, run by multi award winning leading British and International playwright,

Jim Cartwright

Jim, major British TV, film and theatre practitioner, is also a director and actor.

His work has been translated into over 35 languages and is constantly in production around the world and has been produced at most of the major theatres including Broadway, the West End, The National Theatre and The Royal Court.

Jim set up the acting studio in response to the recent vocal outcry from many prominent figures in the acting profession, that training in too many cases lies beyond the reach of a lot of folk, and even entry into the industry is becoming gradually restricted to those of privilege. He therefore set up affordable acting classes in his local town of Chorley as a way of giving something back.

Word soon got around about the wonderful success of the adult classes and requests started to flood in to Jim about classes for the younger ones.

So now we are happy to introduce a unique and exciting opportunity to train under the direction of Jim run by Tracy Higgins.
